London Fashion Week: Christopher Kane

Revolutionary Scottish fashion designer and Central St. Martin's graduate Christopher Kane has debuted his new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection earlier today at London's One New Change shopping centre.
Chain-mail embroidered floral paisley printed shirts, skirts and boyishly cut organza dresses in poppy red and striking lilac shades mixed with black patent leather details were at the forefront of Kane's Catwalk collection. Offering a more mature and futuristic modernity in terms of his creative streak than the more youthful designs of his previous runway shows. A move that will definitely have the independent femme fatales lining up to shop the refreshing pieces come A/W season.

Christopher Kane stated he took inspiration for his new collection from dirty, grungy, run down nightclub girls with a rocky edge. What's not to love?
Front row guests included Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung, and Samantha Cameron, donning a Joseph trouser suit and a green Jonathan Saunders shirt.
