There are a Few Things Guys Love to hear from a Romantic Prospect

There are certain phrases that guys just can't resist. Bust out the following lines in the early days of dating.

"That's hilarious!"

When a dude is trying to impress you, he'll crack jokes to ease tension and show off his personality. Telling him that you dig his sense of humor will help him relax. It means even more to him than simply hearing you laugh (though of course, he wants that, too), because it reassures him that your chuckle is genuine.
Let's eat Italian tonight.
Men crave a chick who expresses her opinions. So, when he asks what you want to do, don't respond with "Ikaw? Kahit ano." Instead, suggest something you're in the mood for. Worried he won't be into it? Present a few options, and have him choose his favorite.
You really get me.
When you feel like a guy is connecting with you, tell him. Men often don't pick up on the subtle signals you send and wind up stressing about whether you like them. Vocalizing that he understands you boosts his confidence and lets him know that you're bonding.

Flight Attendant

From the start, some passengers knew something was amiss. The flight attendant had asked them if the plane was in Houston.
It was in Dallas.
Then came dueling announcements from two flight attendants, the first saying the plane had mechanical problems; the second assuring passengers everything was OK.
Then, alarmingly, the increasingly excited flight attendant repeatedly declared over the public address system that she was no longer responsible for the safety of the plane, and that it was going to crash.
The whole time, the plane continued rolling toward the runway.
The Friday morning incident ended only after fellow crew members scuffled with their colleague, and when passengers helped restrain her, according to passengers interviewed by CNN.
Authorities said the flight was delayed, and that two flight attendants - including the agitated attendant -- were taken to a Dallas hospital for treatment.

Local and federal officials said they do not anticipate criminal charges, adding to speculation that she may have suffered a mental breakdown. One passenger said the flight attendant described herself as bi-polar, and said she had not taken her medication.
The unusual incident put public focus on the nation's flight attendants, who more often are viewed as the people tasked with mediating disputes or dealing with others' aberrant behavior.
But on Friday morning, the flight attendant in the forward cabin of American Airlines Flight 2332 -- a Dallas to Chicago flight -- became the focus of attention.
She was acting weird from the very beginning," said Whitney Bessler, a Dallas resident seated in the second row. "When we first got on the plane she was asking the passenger next to me if we were in Houston and where we were going. We kind of thought she was just making a joke."
But "before we were even taxiing she was talking about how we needed to do more cross-checks, or we needed more testing, or go back for more security, something like that," Bessler said.
Bessler and other passengers said the flight attendant got on the public address system, and appeared to be calling the pilots.
At first, "everybody was laughing because it sounded like she (had) accidentally turned on" the intercom, said Laurie Grabe of Traverse City, Michigan, who witnessed the incident from her ninth-row seat.
Then other flight attendants intervened, "telling her to turn off the PA, not to talk like that," Grabe said.
The flight attendant continued her disjointed announcements, passengers said. She said, "OK, if you (pilots) don't hear me, then I give up. I'm not responsible if this plane crashes," Grabe said. She also "said something about opening the doors."
Everybody was starting to look at each other, like 'Oh, my God, What's going on here?' "Grabe said.
Said Bessler, "Two or three times over the PA, she talks about how the planes is going to crash, how she doesn't want the plane to crash on her watch." While some of her sentences were clear, others were just "random gibberish," Bessler said.
When the flight attendant said the plane was likely to crash, "the passenger behind me ... said, 'I'm calling 9-1-1,' " said passenger Bethany Chistakos, who was sitting in the middle of the plane. "Because . the plane wasn't stopping. We were already on the runway, we were about literally (to) take off."
Passengers said other flight attendants and an off-duty pilot scuffled with the flight attendant over control of the microphone, and several passengers jumped in to subdue the woman. It took about five people to restrain her, they said.
They "threw her into the first row of seats and held her down," Grabe said.
Grabe said the flight attendant started "screaming bloody murder," sounding "demonic."
The attendant was taken to the hospital for evaluation, officials said. A second flight attendant who may have been injured while restraining the first one also was taken to the hospital.
An airline spokesman acknowledged the incident but said passengers were not in danger.
We continue to investigate the details and circumstances," American Airlines spokesman Ed Martelle said.
We will ensure that the affected flight attendants receive proper care, and we commend our other crew members for their assistance in quickly getting the aircraft back to the gate so that customers could be reaccommodated," he said.
Our customers were not in danger at any time."
FBI spokeswoman Lydia Maese said no federal charges were filed and the agency sees no need for further investigation.
After the crew was replaced, the flight departed for Chicago at 9:46 a.m. local time, about an hour behind schedule.

Obama Hails Jobs Report

President Obama seized on a new jobs report as evidence that "the economy is getting stronger" as he pitched a set of manufacturing initiatives in territory key to his reelection chances.
The key now, our job now, is to keep this economic engine churning," Obama said from the floor of a jet engine manufacturing plant in Petersburg, Va. "We can't go back to the same policies that got us into this mess."
Obama's trip, deemed official and not campaign business, came hours after the Labor Department announced that the economy had added 227,000 jobs in February, a stronger showing than economists had expected but not enough to move the 8.3% unemployment rate.
Obama's remarks were calibrated to reflect the limits of the good news. The president has been walking a fine line on jobs — being careful not to make promises or appear overly optimistic, while still claiming credit for the bright spots.

The hopeful but not celebratory tone remains a political necessity for the president. While the current trajectory of job growth may make economists and policymakers happy, the economy's problems are still far from healed.
People's lives are most affected by the level of employment: How many people are working and what is the unemployment rate?" said Keith Hennessey, a former economic advisor in the George W. Bush administration. "At 8.3%, this number is still bad."
On Tuesday, Obama zeroed in on manufacturing, noting that the jobs report showed continued growth in that sector.
And when I come to places like this and I see the work that's being done, it gives me confidence there are better days ahead," Obama said. "I want us to make stuff here and sell it over there. I don't want stuff made over there and selling it over here."
The president's remarks won cheers from employees at the Rolls-Royce Crosspointe plant, but his audience was much broader.
Obama won Virginia by 6 percentage points in 2008, capitalizing on the growth of Democratic votes in the historically conservative state. Since then, Virginians have elected conservative Republican Bob McDonnell to the governor's office and several tea-party-backed lawmakers to Congress. Many Republicans have been optimistic about being able to hold the state this year.
Obama has made the promise of a "renaissance" in American manufacturing a key part of his economic message. He takes credit for saving the U.S. auto industry with the 2009 bailout and has been touring U.S. plants, including a recent trip to Boeing, to highlight innovation.
On Tuesday, he proposed creating a $1-billion network of advanced manufacturing institutes. He says his administration would launch a $45-million pilot institute funded through Defense Department coffers. Funding for the larger network would need congressional approval.

Ellen DeGeneres

The Christian family group called OneMillionMoms.com announced Thursday that it's backing off a nationwide boycott of J.C. Penney. The group -- affiliated with the ultraconservative American Family Assn. -- was upset that the retailer recently hired the openly gay talk show host as its new spokeswoman. OneMillionMoms.com argued that DeGeneres, as a gay woman, was a poor representative of family values.
The campaign belly-flopped after numerous critics attacked the effort -not just the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation advocacy group, but also some commentators often sympathetic to conservative causes, such as Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, who compared it to McCarthy-like blacklisting. J.C. Penney also issued a statement reaffirming its support for DeGeneres.

OneMillionMoms director Monica Cole told the site onenewsnow.com that other issues require her group's attention, so OMM is moving on."
What other issues? Well, the group's latest effort is against the ABC drama "GCB," which organizers find insulting to Christians.
Meanwhile, some have noticed that the group's title might be a bit optimistic.
Not that there's anyone counting, but for a group that calls itself the One Million Moms, they only have 40,000 members on their [Facebook] page," DeGeneres told viewers. "They're rounding to the nearest million, and I get that.

Outrageous Celebrity Antics of the Week

It is generally agreed, among men at least, that Angelina Jolie has a multiplicity of body parts worthy of reverence. Go ahead, name one. Awesome. Now, her right leg, which she flaunted temptingly at the Oscars, has its very own monument. A Twitter page. It's called, appropriately enough, “Angie's Right Leg,” and as of Monday afternoon had more than 12,000 followers. Angie's right leg, surprisingly enough, can type. It's a bit of a chatterbox, truth be told.
“I'm a leg!!” it said, for instance, at 8:54 p.m. on Feb. 26. At 11:51 a.m. Monday, it was in more of a philosophical mood. “Left leg and I talked – everything's cool. Next Oscars, she gets the slit.” At the Oscars, Jolie's glamorous black dress featured a split by her right leg. She accentuated it while presenting the award for best adapted screenplay. One of the winners of that category, “The Descendants” co-writer Jim Rash, mocked the pose while accepting his award.
Parlez-vous français? Tres bièn. Perhaps you caught it then. When Jean Dujardin accepted his Academy Award for Best Actor on Sunday night, for the lead role in “The Artist,” he broke into his native tongue and dropped what is often considered the French equivalent of the F-bomb. Censors didn't catch it. Even Dujardin didn't seem immediately aware of what had happened. E! News, tipped off to the gaffe, asked Dujardin afterward what he had said. “I said it's amazing, it's incredible …” he began, then conferred with his translator. Dujardin paused and then said, smiling: “Uh, yeah. I'm sorry.” Still, the word wasn't actually the F-bomb, nor is it considered as taboo in French. Le Figaro reported that French newspapers carried Dujardin's remarks in full. The word he used means “prostitute.” Still, his mother wasn't happy he said it. “I don't like, I don't like (that) he said (it),” she told Access Hollywood, but she was laughing.
The spies at TMZ caught Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver shopping for furniture together. The website surmised that it was yet another sign that the couple are reconciling. The estranged couple had a lunch date in Santa Monica on Tuesday, not unusual in itself. But afterwards, they strolled to a nearby furniture store and looked over the merchandise. According to math on the worldwide web, lunch plus furniture shopping equals five. The couple is currently living apart. TMZ has been reporting that Shriver is “conflicted” about the pending divorce, on religious grounds. Sources tell the site that she has flip-flopped about the divorce many times.
Whether you like him or not – we happen to think he's pretty funny, but whatever – everyone can agree that Bill Maher has a big mouth. His mother probably thinks so. Well, now he's putting big money where it (his mouth) is. Maher pledged $1 million Thursday night to a super PAC supporting President Barack Obama. The political satirist announced it during a Yahoo-webcast special, “CrazyStupidPolitics.” He said he was giving the money to Priorities USA Action, a super political action committee backing the president. Even as he made his sizeable pledge, Maher mocked the committee's “tongue-twister name,” joking that it was dreamed up by Borat, the English-addled comic creation of Sacha Baron Cohen. A cynic on politics who often takes liberal stands on issues on his HBO talk show “Real Time,” Maher joins Dreamworks Animation executive Jeffrey Katzenberg and the Service Employees International Union as the committee's top funders. Katzenberg gave the group $2 million, and the union donated $1 million. Priorities USA Action officials were not immediately available for comment. Maher is available anytime.
Snooki is pregnant, various online sites reported. The news appeared to begin with Page Six, then spread quickly. “The universe's collective IQ should prepare to drop a few points,” Page Six said of the prospective Snookums. The site said that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is carrying the child of her boyfriend, fellow “Jersey Shore” star Jionni LaValle. She had previously denied that she was pregnant, Page Six saying she was brokering a deal to announce the news. But TMZ reports sources said that Snooki lied about the pregnancy because she didn't want to jinx it before the magical three-month mark. The website reported late Wednesday afternoon that an official announcement of a Snooki bun in the oven was now “expected at any moment.
Actress Sean Young got into a fight with a security guard at a post-Oscars party Sunday night and was promptly arrested. Young, who starred in “Blade Runner” and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” was placed under citizen's arrest after the scuffle, police Cmdr. Andrew Smith said. “She was trying to get into the party and couldn't get in,” he said. Young was booked at the Hollywood police station on charges of alleged misdemeanor battery. She was released early Monday when she posted $20,000 bail. TMZ reports that Young was standing near the entrance of the Governors Ball, snapping photos with friends. When security realized she didn't have a ticket, they asked the actress to leave. The website says that Young allegedly slapped one of the guards. An Associated Press business executive witnessed Young being taken into custody. Tom Januszewski said a guard placed his forearm on Young's neck and head while other guards put her in handcuffs. “It happened incredibly fast,” he said. “I thought it was incredibly well-handled.” The actress tried to crash the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2006. She entered rehabilitation for alcohol abuse in 2008 after she was removed from the Directors Guild of America awards.
Charlie Sheen will be back on the air with a weekly sitcom beginning June 28, be warned. The FX channel announced Tuesday that his new sitcom, “Anger Management,” will air its first two episodes that night. The show is loosely based on a 2003 movie of the same name about a non-traditional therapist. FX has ordered 10 episodes of “Management” for the first season. It marks Sheen's return to weekly TV after getting canned from “Two and a Half Men” last year for sundry shenanigans.

Rihanna in Hot Outfit for Kadoomant Day Parade Video

Rihanna Wears Sexy Costume and getting Raunchy on Barbados’ Kadoomant Day Parade. She appeared wearing in a cut out bra top and a pair of tiny red pants carnival costume flaunting her fabulous figure, simple make-up and a new darker hair color – a world away from her usual sexed-up style.
Rihanna sowed off some skin in a red cut-out bra and bikini embellished with gold and red details and a carnival head piece adorned with red feathers. Rihanna didn’t feel out of place as she looked like she was enjoying every bit of the party.

At one point in the party an over-eager fan came up behind her as she bent over and the singer happily obliged by dancing with him. Raunchy moves and her stunning beauty kept all eyes on her while she was blowing kisses to her fans. Supping on a drink and chatted with friends as she partied the day away.
Rihanna loves her country and it is probably her love that helped her receive the title of ambassador for Barbados. In June it was announced that Rihanna was the official ambassador for her home country of Barbados.
Rihanna went to her Twitter to express her feelings for country and wrote:
My home, my country, my people
A little rain didn’t ruin her mood, as she continued to running in the street and  giggling through the streets along with her pals.
