 Hemingway Continues Anti-Suicide Fight
Mariel Hemingway says the greatest mission in life is to stay alive for a family with a history of suicide.
Over the past decade, the actress is busy promoting awareness of suicide and talks about how to choose lifestyle can affect the mental well-being. She will do almost anything to prevent suicide. This is the reason for the appearance in the film project a sensation in the worship of the final Archie - formerly known as my suicide - it was not surprising.
"There were at least seven suicides in my family, it is clear even from appearing in the film holds great significance for me," Hemingway said in a recent interview.


Her older sister, Margo, and novelist famous grandfather, Ernest, is among her losses. Hemingway's death, while the attributes in part to a chemical imbalance, it blames them mostly on lifestyle choices.
"Families like the Hemingways creative tend to abuse drugs, they tend to suffer from depression, and all kinds of things," said Hemingway. But he added that it "there are lifestyle choices that can make that can at least alleviate them."
As for the film, and deals with the final draft of Archie with suicide in adolescence, although the lens is revered for disadvantaged high school students. Instead of giving as a drama, the film takes a cheeky, comic approach. But under the laughter lies the seriousness of the film, which is trying to raise awareness.
And it's success. Through social media, the film has prompted a national dialogue about the signs of teen suicide and how to deal with it, including the IamAnArchie awareness and prevention campaign.
