Jani Lane

Jani Lane, former singer of the glam rock and "hair metal" band Warrant, died of alcohol poisoning in August, according to a statement by the Los Angeles County coroner's office carried by the Associated Press.
Paramedics found his body on Thursday, August 11, in a Comfort Inn motel room in Woodland Hills, California, which is near Los Angeles. Lane had battled alcohol abuse for years. On Wednesday, October 5, the cause of death was revealed to be acute ethanol intoxication.
